Liberty Christian Church is a conservative reformed church located in northern Utah close to Hill Air Force Base.
Brief History
On April 17, 1994, Liberty Christian Church (LCC), a churches in Utah, conducted its first worship service in the boardroom of the La Quinta Inn located in Layton, Utah. David Martin was the founding pastor and presently continues in that role emphasizing the equipping of Christians in their spiritual walk with Christ through the expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word. In November of 1998, the congregation adopted the church’s current Constitution and Articles of Faith. A few months later, on April 25, 1999, LCC became elder led, thereby establishing a church structure in line with New Testament teaching.
Throughout the history of the church, God has provided various facilities for worship and teaching. In April 2009, Liberty was blessed with a permanent facility in Sunset, Utah and has been conducting its worship and services at that location ever since. However, more important than any location or resources, are the principles upon which Liberty Christian Church has been built. Those principles include sound doctrine, biblical teaching, biblical leadership, and God-honoring active worship and service. Liberty Christian Church is committed to teaching the Bible and trusting that God will remain faithful to His people.
